Ha Long – Van Don Highway has a length of 54 km running through the mountains and hills connecting the new airport with a total investment of 12,000 billion VNDs.
– After completed, Ha Long – Van Don highway shall l be important in linking between special zones and the key economic areas such as Ha Long, Hai Phong, Hanoi. Travel time between Hanoi and Van Don is only about 2.5 hours.
– This route is through hills and mountains, complex terrain that must be designed to high speed, can run at speeds of 100 km / h. Therefore, for the “softest” road when running high speed, the constractors have to excavate a lot of soil and rock. 4. Square: 2.054 m2.

III. Slope protection at Km27+950 (trái tuyến)

1. Time for building: 01/2019 ÷ 05/2019;
2. Pack XDCT04 (Km22+000 ÷ Km32+500), Ha Long – Van Don Highway;
3. Protect solution: Prestressed nail 4*12.7mm, L = 20-40m + Frame beam C35 + Spraying concrete C18;
4. Square: 2.244 m2.

IV. Slope protection at Km30+524 ÷ Km30+772,37 (left slide) and Km31+324 ÷ Km31+300 (right slide)

1. Time for building: 6/2019 – now
2. Slope Protection: Lưới thép cường độ cao + đinh đá D32 L=(4m÷6m); Hàng rào chống đá lăn (tương đương mức năng lượng: 1000KJ, 2000KJ);
3. Square: 5.620 m2.
